A Little About Us!

Lil Dog Ranch…

was founded in 2015 by a pair of animal lovers who saw the need for a boarding facility that was designed and built for smaller dogs. This concept quickly became popular among many owners of little dogs. Boarding your furbaby is often stressful for an owner and a dog, but it shouldn’t be. At Lil Dog Ranch we want your dog to enjoy coming “on vacation” and making new friends their size in a safe and happy environment. We feel good about what we do here because we see the joy and excitement in our guests when they walk through the door.

In 2023, “The Ranch” changed ownership to another animal-loving couple, Tony and Amanda Plataniotis. Both have had pets their entire lives and also foster dogs and cats in their home. They also volunteer frequently and work with local non-profit animal organizations such as Adopt A Pit Rescue and TIPS-TNR.

Tony and Amanda love spoiling and spending their days with their own animals and helping others in need. When they saw the opportunity to own a business that would allow them to work with animals, it seemed like the chance of a lifetime. What better than to wake up every day and get to do work that you are passionate about? They take their responsibilities very seriously and appreciate being entrusted to watch over people’s beloved pets. Loving and caring for animals comes naturally and to them, it hardly feels like “work.” They are proud to be able to live by the saying…
